Although I use Mac OS X as my &#8220;everyday&#8221; operating system, I have fond memories of using Linux as my primary system for many, many years. Even now, rarely a working day goes by when I don&#8217;t have to use Linux for one reason or anotherâ€”work-related or otherwise. That said, I was trying to open an OpenOffice.org presentation on a Linux system today. Since Mozilla was oblivious of the MIME type, I chose to download the file. When the download finished, I clicked on the &#8220;open&#8221; link in the browser&#8217;s download manager. I was greeted by the most amusing error dialog I have seen in a very long time (the &#8220;#1&#8243;, &#8220;#2&#8243;, etc. have nothing to do with the filename in question):
