Although I use Mac OS X as my “everyday” operating system, I have fond memories of using Linux as my primary system for many, many years. Even now, rarely a working day goes by when I don’t have to use Linux for one reason or another—work-related or otherwise. That said, I was trying to open an presentation on a Linux system today. Since Mozilla was oblivious of the MIME type, I chose to download the file. When the download finished, I clicked on the “open” link in the browser’s download manager. I was greeted by the most amusing error dialog I have seen in a very long time (the “#1″, “#2″, etc. have nothing to do with the filename in question):
